LEAK DETECTION SERVICES IN UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

Recent Leak Highlights: Water Park

[rank_math_breadcrumb]

We love to share good news of how we can help customers save money! 2 weeks ago we were called due to a commercial water park losing several feet of water if the autofill was not turned on – but no visible sign of a leak. As we have all the latest equipment we were able to do a full inspection and find out exactly what was causing the loss of water:

  • We dove in the pool (the water was quite cold but we have drysuits) and dye checked the bottom drain and many cracks in the pool to ensure nothing was leaking.
  • We Dye tested the fittings and skimmers to ensure no leaks. One skimmer throat had a leak we were able to repair with epoxy.
  • We pressure tested the Return lines (25 returns in the pool!) – and the return line would not hold any pressure – indicating a leak. We then used our Underwater Microphone to listen for the leak. We found the leak in the shallow end by the zero entry.
  • We used our cameras to give the water park a better idea where some of the piping was located.
  • While there we also located a leak on the underground water supply lines to a hose bib!
